The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) issued an official Office Memorandum revising the original holiday calendar date for EID-UL-ZUHA, which had previously scheduled the public holiday for May 27, 2026. The same has not been revised to May 28, 2026.
Notification Details:
Revised Date: May 28, 2026 (Thursday) replaces the original May 27 schedule.
Consequent upon the Central Govt. notification the States are also revising the same. Some of the State notifications are also attached herewith.
