The Labour Department of the Government of Tripura has officially revised the minimum rates of wages and Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) across all scheduled employments. Released via notification No. F. 22(74)-LAB/ENF/MW/SHOPS/2022/660-77, these structural changes apply retrospectively from April 1, 2026.
Businesses managing shops, commercial spaces, and industrial units must audit their payroll frameworks immediately to reflect these statutory changes and maintain robust legal compliance.
The amended rates for all the categories are as below:-
