The Government of West Bengal has officially revised the Minimum Rates of Wages across various scheduled employments, effective July 1, 2026. The New Wage Structure
The revised rates apply to 31 scheduled industries – including Shops, Establishments, IT firms, and Security Services—and remain valid until December 31, 2026. Wages are calculated based on worker skill levels and geographic divisions (Zone A for municipal corporations and urban areas; Zone B for the rest of the state).
