The Government of Arunachal Pradesh has officially notified the List of Holidays for the 2026 calendar year. This critical update mandates that all establishments, government offices, and educational institutions operating within the state integrate these dates into their operational calendars immediately.

The 2026 schedule includes 17 Gazetted holidays and a diverse selection of Restricted/Local holidays that reflect the state’s rich cultural and tribal heritage, such as Statehood Day and Indigenous Faith Day. Timely implementation is essential for HR departments to ensure error-free payroll and statutory compliance with state labor regulations.
