Subject: Mandatory registration and update of Internal Committee (IC) details on She-Box Portal — as per Labour Department advisory, Karnataka
This is to inform you that the Labour Department, Government of Karnataka has recently issued an official advisory directing all establishments and organizations operating within the state to ensure compliance under the POSH Act, 2013 (Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace).
As per the attached circular, all employers are required to:
- Constitute an Internal Complaints Committee (IC) in accordance with Section 4 of the POSH Act.
- Register their organization and IC details on the She-Box Portal (https://shebox.nic.in) as per the directions of the Labour Department.
- Ensure all details such as organization information, IC members, and communication address are accurately updated on the portal.
- Submit the above details on or before 25th November 2025.
Failure to comply with the provisions of the POSH Act, 2013 may attract penalties as per Section 26 of the Act.
You are therefore requested to kindly review your current POSH compliance status and ensure that the above requirements are completed within the given timeline.
