The Government of Uttar Pradesh has officially announced a revision in the minimum wage rates for all scheduled employments across the state. This update, effective from April 1, 2026, follows the periodic adjustment of the Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) to account for rising inflation and cost-of-living changes.
The amended rates for all the categories are as below:-

This wage revision is a mandatory update for all employers in Uttar Pradesh. To avoid legal friction and ensure fair compensation for your workforce, immediate implementation is required for the April 2026 payroll cycle.
