The Labour Department of Chandigarh has officially announced a revision in the minimum wage rates for all scheduled employments. This latest amendment introduces a standard increase of ₹175 per month across all employment categories. Driven directly by a 25-point surge in the average Consumer Price Index (CPI), the new pay mandates apply retrospectively from April 1, 2026, through September 30, 2026.
The amended rates for all the categories are as below:-
