The comprehensive list of holidays was made public by the General Administration Department (GAD) through Notification No. F. 23012/36/2025-ESTT-GAD on October 14, 2025. This declaration specifies the days that will be observed as public holidays across all government offices, revenue and magisterial courts, and commercial entities in Mizoram during the calendar year 2026, in compliance with the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.
The official list for 2026 declares a total of 18 general holidays, which are mandatory observances for commercial establishments in the state.
