The Office of the Labour Commissioner, Government of Gujarat, has officially declared a revision in the Special Allowance (Variable Dearness Allowance) under the Minimum Wages Act, 1948. Valid for the bi-annual period from October 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027, this regulatory update mandates an upward adjustment for establishments operating across the state.
The amended rates for all the categories are as below:-
