New Delhi | SGC Services Compliance Alert – In a significant move to enhance transparency and reinforce statutory compliance, the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has issued a mandatory directive to all covered establishments.
We draw your urgent attention to Circular No. Compliance/ U/P78/2022/Advocacy/55643/13179 dated October 7, 2025, which mandates the prominent display of a crucial extract of Form 5A at every establishment.
The Deadline is Urgent: October 21, 2025
Employers are required to comply with this new mandate within 15 days of the circular’s date, which makes the strict deadline October 21, 2025. Failure to adhere to this directive could attract legal action and penalties under the Employees’ Provident Funds & Miscellaneous Provisions (EPF & MP) Act, 1952.
Where Must the Information Be Displayed?
The Form 5A extract must be displayed prominently in the following places:
- Physical Display: At the entrance of the establishment.
- Digital Display (If Applicable): On the company’s website and mobile application (if one exists).
What Information Must Be Displayed?
To ensure full compliance, employers must prepare a display board (and update digital platforms) containing the following details from their Form 5A record:
