The Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry has declared Tuesday,06th April 2021,a public holiday/Paid holiday under Negotiable Instruments Act,1881 for all Government offices/Institutions/Local Bodies/Commercial and Industrial Establishments located in Union Territory of Puducherry in order to enable the Electors employed therein to exercise their franchise in the General Election to Puducherry Legislative Assembly 2021
