The Government of Maharashtra has officially updated the Minimum Wages (Special Allowance) for all scheduled employments, effective from January 1, 2026. This bi-annual revision is mandatory for all employers to ensure compliance with state labor laws and to align with the evolving Labour Law reforms of 2026.
Revised Wage Structure (January 2026 – June 2026)
Below are the updated rates for Shops and Commercial Establishments. These figures include the revised Special Allowance (VDA) added to the existing Basic Wage.
The amended rates for all the categories are as below:-
